Helsinki Contemporary puts on eleven curated exhibitions per year, by artists to whose careers the Gallery has made a commitment. At certain times, we also present solo shows by visiting established artists and collective shows by upcoming talents. All of our artists take a physical, in-depth approach to their work, and the Gallery’s profile is not restricted to any particular media.
The Gallery’s exhibitions represent our high-end artistic profile, which emphasises the importance of experiencing works of art on site, together with other people. Alongside exhibitions, we invite people to come and discuss and discover more at events including artists’ talks and debates.
Helsinki Contemporary is dedicated to offering a personalised service to all clients and to providing advice on collecting high-quality contemporary art. Besides advising private collectors, the Gallery’s services include consultancy and art advisory for corporate and institutional art collections. The Gallery’s professionals plan presentations of works for clients, and also offer on-site consultation at the premises where the work is to be installed. Advice on commissions is also a part of our services.
The Gallery has a curated sales collection and also keeps inventories of other available works by our artists. We arrange personal viewings in the Gallery for both individuals and corporate groups.
