For artists
Helsinki Contemporary offers the Gallery’s artists facilities and services that support their artistic work. This takes the form of a long-term collaboration and commitment based on a relationship with an assigned curator and a team of other professionals. The core of the collaboration is a curated solo show every 2-3 years. We also manage projects outside the Gallery and support our artists in all their ventures.
We provide administrative and managerial support, including maintaining archives and databases on all represented artists, handling contracts, and arranging logistics. Communications and marketing are planned in collaboration with the individual artists. We promote our artists at art fairs, and also produce catalogues of their works.
