Words are unwavering. Their message is too specific and they are always telling us about something. They become entangled in meaning. A painting suggests. It leaves room for interpretation, for understanding and for being understood. The colours and forms reveal the essentials. The rest I keep to myself. Viewers can read the paintings and interpret them on their own terms, informed by their background. I don’t want to write. Neither do I want to explain.
