A conversation that goes into the background and themes of the exhibition ‘Home Is Where My Mouth Is’ by Artor Jesus Inkerö, will take place at the gallery on Saturday, January 27 at 2 pm onwards. Talking with the artist will be curator and writer Max Hannus.

Artor Jesus Inkerö’s work, on display at the gallery, examines the nature of queer space and the need for queer architecture. In the displayed works, architecture is linked directly to the body and corporeal experience. The contemporary ethos is reflected in the recurring word ‘home’, which for Inkerö represents a site of human agency. The works express the artist’s thoughts on the changing nature of families and their status as an institution.

’Home Is Where My Mouth Is’ runs through February 11.
