This weekend two summer exhibitions including Helsinki Contemporary artists open their doors. Mänttä Art Festival shows annually a wide variety of Finnish Contemporary art during the summer. The exhibition is each year curated by a different curator, this year she is Minna Joenniemi. Pekka Jylhä and Henry Wuorila-Stenberg participates in this years edition.

The summer exhibition at Art Center Purnu has the history of starting the tradition of summer exhibitions in Finland, as the first exhibition was arrenged in 1967. This year the exhibition called Where are you from? focuses on the roots of the artists. Henry Wuorila-Stenberg is one of the participating artists.
