The upcoming weekend, March 22nd – 23rd 2014, works by Ville Andersson will be shown at the gallery showroom. The works are part of the selection seen at the ARCOmadrid 2014 –fair. Welcome!

The participation in the ARCOmadrid 2014 #FocusFinland section was an enormous success for Andersson. The booth by the gallery and Andersson was chosen among the ten most interesting booths at the fair by the Spanish publication El Cultural. Andersson was also nominated for the Spanish Art Critics Association (AECA) Award in the category for best work or series of works by an international artist, where he was chosen as finalist together with three other artists. Gerhard Richter won the award with his work Abstraktes Bild. The other nominees were Julien Opie and Jaume Plensa. The award has been distributed for more than two decades and the winner is chosen by the members of the association. Meantime Andersson is presenting his so far most comprehensive solo exhibition My Little Empire at Gallery Elverket in Tammisaari and participating in a group exhibition called Men – any feelings? at Tampere Art Museum.
