Tuomas Aleksander Laitinen shows in NRW-Forum Düsseldorf – solo show in Seoul opens in May

The video installation Receptor by Tuomas Aleksander Laitinen is included in the exhibition PENDORAN VINCI: Art and Artificial Intelligence Today at NRW-Forum Düsseldorf between 9 June – 19 August. The exhibition presents compositions by international artists examining Artificial Intelligence's place in the world today. The exhibition is initiated by Leoni Spiekermann (ARTGATE Consulting) and curated by Tina Sauerlaender and Peggy Schoenegge (peer to space).

Laitinen's piece was first shown at the international exhibition ARS17 at the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma in 2017–18, from where it was acquired to the museum's collection.

Laitinen's newly comissioned piece Dossier of Osmosis is included in the 21st Biennale of Sydney, running until 11 June. The artist is currently in Seoul, Korea, where his solo exhibition Cryptospores is presented at  Amado Art Space from 25 May – 1 July.
