Tuomas A. Laitinen, Azure Dunes (for J. G. Ballard), 2015, still image from video

Deep Time Séance, a one evening show, takes place at Residency Unlimited in New York. It is composed around Tuomas A. Laitinen’s site specific video installation with a live music performance by Laitinen and Matti Ahopelto. It also includes circulating energy objects by Jaakko Pallasvuo. The event transforms the space into a site where rational and mythical perceptions of the Earth merge. The event is curated by Jenni Nurmenniemi as a part of Mobius Fellowship Program for visual art professionals organized by the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York.

The event takes place on April 8, 2015 at 6-8pm.
