The Siberian Jay (Kuukkeli) sculpture by Villu Jaanisoo is revealed today in Kalasatama, Helsinki. The six metres tall sculpture is situated in front of the apartment building in the corner of Junonkatu and Leonkatu. It is commissioned by Helsinki City Executive Office as a part of the Kalasatama environmental art project. The project is financed by a fee for the constructors, dimensioned according to built floor area. Helsinki Art Museum HAM serves as the art expert in the project.
