Roland Persson: Magical Moment of Silence in Nässjö Konsthall

Roland Persson’s lifelike silicone sculptures stir emotions and captivate audiences. In the summer of 2026, Nässjö Konsthall will be exhibition his work in a solo show titled The Magical Moment of Silence. The exhibition runs from June 13 until August 29.

The exhibition features, among other works, The Magical Moment of Silence, which has never before been shown in Sweden. The work has also lent its name to the entire exhibition. Roland Persson's approach to creating lifelike sculptures in silicone has become something of a trademark. These sculptures, which are at once hyperrealistic and surreal, seem to disrupt our perception, which can cause us to shift our understanding of how the world is actually constituted.
