Rauha Mäkilä is the chairman of the jury of Young Artists 2015 exhibition shown at Kunsthalle Helsinki during the following fall.
The exhibition is open to all artists under the age of 35, Finnish or living in Finland. All works included in the exhibition are made during the last three years. The popular concept of the Young Artists exhibition has existed since 1939 with participants like Tove Jansson and Juhana Blomstedt over the years.
Mäkilä hopes to achieve an entity of works that reflects the current situation in the contemporary art world. Most of all she hopes to be surprised by the applicants and their art.
