Operative Director appointed for Helsinki Contemporary

Mari Männistö, M.Sc., has been appointed Operative Director of Helsinki Contemporary. Männistö starts in January 2015. She will have operational responsibility, and will be in charge of financial planning and business development. Defining of the artistic line for the gallery will remain within the group of curators.
Männistö currently works at Otava Publishing Company as Business Manager for General Literature. She has accounted for business development, sales and marketing in both publishing and media industries (eg. WSOY, Bonnier Books Finland and Sanoma Oy). Männistö is accustomed to combining creative and economic activities without compromising the other.![]()
