Janne Räisänen x Helsinki Contemporary
26.01.2015
We are happy to announce a new collaboration with painter Janne Räisänen. Räisänen (b. 1971 in Pudasjärvi) is a Berlin based artist, whose works are known for comprehending small-big stories. Räisänen’s first solo exhibition at the gallery is scheduled for early 2016.
Räisänen’s first solo exhibition in the Berlin based gallery Schwarz Contemporary, JaNoir – TechNoir, is open January 22nd – March 7th. The works in the exhibition leave room for the viewer’s imagination and associations. Räisänen also participates in a group exhibition called The Third Hand – Last Exit Painting in Salon Dahlmann in Berlin. The exhibition brings together works by Philip Guston with young artists, whose works are somehow influenced by Guston. The exhibition is open January 24th – March 7th.
