Hannaleena Heiska participates in a group exhibition called In Search of the Present at EMMA –Espoo Museum of Modern Art.

The impressive collection of artworks from 22 artists consists various media including sound art, special installations and commissioned works.

The exhibition is inspired by the 1929 collection of essays by Olavi Paavolainen. The exhibition explores modern human beings relationship to the environment, themselves and each other.

The exhibition runs 12 October 2016 – 8 January 2017.
