Christina Mitrentse

Christina Mitrentse is a multi-disciplinary London based artist known for constructing thought-provoking narratives and poetic ensembles through processes of vintage book-sculpture, drawing, screen-printing, and productions of site-specific installations. Mitrense has exhibited extensively in galleries, museums and public spaces, and her work has been profiled and reviewed in major publications including Art Monthly, InteRartive, Athens Voice, Book Art magazine, Close Up, Time out London In/flux and Frieze. Her artworks have been acquired by notable private and public collections including Zablutovitz Griechische Kultustiftung Berlin, Onassis Foundation, Benaki Museum and Beltios & Karathodoros collection Nikos Alexiou Collection and Tate Archive.
